Afterpulse, popular online shooting game for Android and iOS, has been discontinued and its servers turned off on the 11th of this month. But Digital Legends, the producer of the game, managed to get intellectual property, and today (26), they decided to re-launch the game on Android, now without the partnership of Gamevil.
The game, which previously had high compatibility with Android. It is now being released gradually for selected handsets. In the download page, Digital Legends points out that the game had more than 10 million downloads.
The trick was strange to enter and Digital Legends and GameEVIL. For literally the game has the same screenshots as before. I did not understand the reason for the “separation”. With over 10 million downloads, it’s hard to imagine that the game did not meet Gamevil’s expectations.
In its end of service note, the publisher (Gamevil) did not make clear the reason for the shutdown of the servers. Those who had their progress will have all their content lost. Players who have actually spent money on the game can request a refund from Gamevil.

It was not just Afterpulse. Digital Legends managed to get back the Respawnables property. Released by GLU back in 2012. Curiously, the game kept its link on Android. Being re-released only on iOS.
